The Seven Pillars of Wisdom ~ Introduction

“…So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom”. (Psalms 90:12)

This week we begin a new series on The Seven Pillars of Wisdom, what they are, the importance of them, and how to apply them to our lives. In the next several weeks we will go into the specific description of each one and show examples from the Bible as to how they were played out in the lives of Yahuah’s servants as lessons for us.

The Book of Proverbs is all about Wisdom and how to live wisely according to the wisdom of Yahuah. The book is a compilation of wise sayings that were composed by King Solomon who was the wisest man who had ever lived. What was Solomon’s purpose for giving us Proverbs? Solomon tells us in the very first six verses of the Book of Proverbs.

” Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 3:2).  During the reign of Tiberius Caesar in 26 A.D. (Luke 3:1) a young man  (John) was sent to be a messenger to prepare the way for the Messiah who would be revealed during this young man’s ministry. This young man lived in the wilderness, the desert area of Judea; he wore garments made of camel’s hair and wore a leather girdle around his waist; his diet consisted of locusts and wild honey.

Understanding The Grace of Yahuah ~ Part 1

What is Biblical Grace?

The definition of “grace” when it is associated with Yahuah’s grace, is generally defined as unmerited favor and pardon. It is the kindness of  Yahuah toward individuals and toward all His creation that is neither earned nor deserved. There is nothing that we can do to earn Yahuah’s favor for it is an undeserved gift that He gives because He desires to give it. He desires to give it because He is full of goodness and love.

Understanding the Grace of Yahuah ~ Part 2

Abundant Grace

The Gospel of John begins with an introduction of Yahusha and who He is.  John tells us, that before Yahusha came as a man, born of the flesh,  He was with Yahuah from eternity; that Yahusha is the Word, and that all things were made through Him. This Word became a flesh and blood man born of a woman, and walked amongst humanity. Even though Yahusha was born as a flesh and blood man, John writes  and wants us to know,  that He was FULL of GRACE and TRUTH.
